Pricing for Custom Cakes, Cupcakes, Cake Pops
Cakes: $100 minimum
Cupcakes: 3 dozen
Cake Pops: 2 dozen
Please note that design highly impacts price.
- Cakes start at $3.50 per serving for buttercream, $4.00 per serving for fondant. Topsy Turvy and other carved cake styles start at $5.75 per serving, carved cakes start at $150. Prices are based on wedding servings of 1″x2″x4″ or 8 cubic inches.
- Cupcakes start at $2.50 (minimum 3 dozen)
- Cake Pops start at $2.00 (minimum 2 dozen)
A $100 retainer is due at the time of booking with the remainder due three weeks before the event. For cakes under $200 or for those booked less than 1 month away I require payment in full at booking. Since I do get a lot of inquiries, I do not consider the date booked until I have received your retainer.
Cake & Cupcake Serving Size
Cake prices are based upon the standard wedding cake serving of 1″x2″x4″. This is the size that catering professionals are trained to cut and is the equivalent of a standard cupcake. This dainty serving is appropriate for formal occasions where the cake may be part of a sweet table or following a three course meal.
If the cake is to serve as the main dessert you may wish to upsize the cake accordingly.
For cupcakes I recommend ordering 1.25 times the number of guests or more if several flavors are offered and guests may wish to sample more than one cupcake.
For cakes serving 100 or more I offer one free “baker’s choice” tasting of up to 4 of my flavors. If your cake serves less than 100 OR you wish to sample specific flavors you can order a tasting of 4 flavors for $25. Since I do bake samples for your design appointment I ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice if your appointment must be rescheduled or cancelled.

Please share your dreams (& fears) about what your perfect cake, cupcakes or cake pops will look and taste like…colors, shapes, cake photos, setting, flowers, dress details are all inspirational tools that we can use to come up with the perfectly unique cake design for you. There are limitless possibilities so it is helpful to come in with some idea of what you want. There is a lot to cover in the hour appointment thus I do ask that you limit the number of participants to no more than three with two being ideal. Following your appointment you will receive a quote for your cake.
Cake lore says that you can only trust two people to deliver a cake – the person who made the cake and the person who’s paying for it! If you do wish to pick-up your cake, rest assured that I will structure your cake very firmly for pick-up however ultimately the risk is yours to get your cake safely to it’s destination. You will need an air-conditioned vehicle with enough space to put the cake level on the floor of the car, not the seat.
Delivery fees are currently $1.25 per mile ($2.50 roundtrip) with a $40 minimum and are based upon a Google Map mileage estimate from Clarke’s Restaurant, 455 Second Street, Lake Oswego, OR 97034. This fee includes basic set-up at your location, making any repairs necessary and placing (minimal) flowers on the cake (flowers must be available at the time of delivery). Extensive flower arranging should be arranged for with your florist or an additional fee will be added. Flowers will need to be provided by your florist unless otherwise arranged.
